| Spring Time! | | Posted on: 04/12/2009 | | Spring is here and it is trying to get warmer outside and our summer schedule is falling into place! We will still be playing every thursday night and every sunday afternoon at the harborside in West O.C. all summer long. I (Darin) had a great trip to Key West, Florida playing at the Conch Republic Seafood Company-Great Gig! But I Had a blast on Duval Street on saturday night at the Lazy Gecko (right next famous Sloppy Joes. if you are in Key West you have to stop in to the Lazy Gecko and say Hi! (oh and have a nice drink too) |

| Wintertime! | | Posted on: 02/17/2009 | | Hey Just an update to let you know that Darin is heading to Key West for a week and will be playing down on Duval Street once again at the Conch Republic and a few other spots.So if you are heading to Florida in the end of March come down and say Hi! check the schedule for details.
It’s Winter time and that means a lighter schedule for O.D. But we are still playing every Thursday night at the Harborside in West O.C. starting around 9pm. You can always count on a great crowd at the Harborside and it is the Home of the “Orange Crush”. Tasty food and the friendliest staff make the Harborside a must when visiting O.C. We are also playing at Seacrets Jamaica…. U.S.A. once a month through out the Winter. Seacrets has got to be one the most amazing Bar/Restaurant/Grill/Nightclub/Concert Hall/Beach in the country. You can’t do it justice trying to describe it but the website does a pretty good job showing the place around with webcams. Check it out! One of our favorite gigs to play in O.C. has got to be BJ’s on the Water. Located at 75th street and the Bay BJ’s known by the locals as the place where “everybody knows your name”. With an awesome menu and a classic saloon environment BJ’s also has a reputation for having great entertainment. That’s right and they still let us play there! We have been playing the second complete (fri-sat) weekend of every month for many years now so put that in you calendar. Duck Feeding at 1pm daily. The 4th annual Sammy Wilkinson Memorial Golf Tournament is taking place again this August at the Ocean City Golf Newport Bay golf course followed by the Jam for Sam which takes place at Seacrets right after the golf tournament featuring just about every local musician in town a great jam for a great cause!
